Resuming Outdoor Family Visitation
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) and Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) have recently released guidance on how to safely begin family visitation with our residents.
We are in the process of developing a plan on how best to implement brief, supervised visits outside our residences, while keeping the strict protocols for infection control. Please note that only residents who have never been infected with COVID-19 and residents who have recovered from COVID-19 will be allowed to have visitors. Residents with active or suspected COVID-19 infections as well as residents who are symptomatic, under quarantine, or new admissions until cleared must remain in their rooms or apartments at all times.
- More detailed information regarding how to schedule visits and the steps that must be followed before and during the visit will be provided by the end of this week.
- Please do not attempt to visit until that time.
- Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
- We look forward to easing these restrictions and seeing our families again soon. In the meantime, we encourage you to schedule a family video call on our website at https://chelseajewish.org/schedule-a-time/.
