Since 1982, Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Health has been an area leader in adult day health services.

Adult Day Health services coordinate care to maintain the participant’s ability to live at home by providing supportive medical and social services. Services include:

  • Nursing education and teaching
  • Medication administration, injections, and other treatments
  • Diabetes management
  • CHF management
  • Monitoring weight, vital signs, and blood sugar
  • Liaison between physicians and case managers to help coordinate care
  • Oxygen management
  • Onsite labs, therapy, podiatry
  • Personal care assistance
  • Social service support and caregiver teaching
