People are Talking About the Leonard Florence Center for Living!

Barbecues, concerts and outdoor activities are in full swing this month. The beloved Wednesday restaurant trips are on the schedule and residents are excited to visit some of the area’s most popular dining destinations. Coming up: the ever popular outing to Polcari’s in Saugus for mouth-watering Italian dishes, including the legendary Regina’s pizza. Jimmy Honohan will get into the swing of things with his lively concert on July 20. And, back by popular demand, local accordion master Ray Cavicchio will be at LFCL on July 19, playing all the hits songs from the 1950’s. Both staff and residents look forward to this event all summer.

Our “Sunny Day Sit/Walk” is now officially part of our activity programming. Each week Activities Director Jimy Aguila takes a few residents outside, weather permitting. The residents love being outdoors, whether it’s to read a book, enjoy the sunshine, socialize on the patio, or take a walk/ride. What a difference a year makes!
