Peabody’s Krista Burke Nominated for MASS-ALA Program Innovation Award

Harriett & Ralph Kaplan Estates is proud to announce that Krista Burke, Customer Relations Concierge, has been nominated for the prestigious Program Innovation Award by the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (MASS-ALA).
The nomination recognizes Krista’s exceptional leadership in developing and enhancing the community’s concierge program, which has become a vital bridge connecting residents, families, and staff. Through her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment, Krista has helped ensure that everyday interactions are meaningful, supportive, and personalized.
The Program Innovation Award will be presented at the MASS-ALA Annual Excellence Awards Dinner on July 23, 2026, in Mansfield. The event celebrates outstanding professionals and communities that go above and beyond to enrich the lives of assisted living residents across the state of Massachusetts. This year’s theme, “Celebrating YOU,” honors the individuals and teams who serve as the heart and backbone of their communities, creating an exceptional quality of life for residents and families alike.
“The concierge program has strengthened communication, eased anxiety for our families, and ensured our residents feel personally supported and valued,” said Andrea Hillel, Executive Director of Harriett & Ralph Kaplan Estates. “Families feel comforted knowing there is always someone available to listen, guide, and advocate for their loved one.”
Hillel noted that Krista’s influence extends far beyond her formal responsibilities. “She has helped the concierge program model achieve warmth, attentiveness, and a spirit of hospitality that touches everyone who walks through our doors,” said Hillel. “This program has elevated not just how we operate, but how we care, connect, and create community. Krista is the type of person who can brighten anyone’s day. Whether it’s her well-timed sense of humor during a stressful moment or simply taking the time to be fully present with someone, she has a remarkable ability to make people feel better.”
Krista, who has been part of the Kaplan Estates/Chelsea Jewish Lifecare family since 2022, is excited to be nominated as she loves her role in the organization. “I truly enjoy being here every single day,” said Krista. “It means the world to me to be nominated by my peers, and I’m grateful to work alongside such talented and caring professionals. The encouragement, mentorship, and support I’ve received from this team have been extraordinary. Kaplan Estates is a very special place. I’m honored to be part of it.”
Congratulations, Krista, on this well-deserved recognition. Your dedication, compassion, and innovative spirit make a difference every day, and we will all be cheering you on at the awards ceremony.
