Message from Kae Santos, Regional President at CJL Chelsea

Dear Residents and Families,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the summer. Our residents have been busy doing just that with a variety of trips and events organized by our amazing and dedicated staff. Just in the past month, there was a trip to Maine for Katzman Center, a Charles River boat tour for Leonard Florence, and an outing to Revere Beach for Cohen Florence and Florence and Chafetz. There are also many activities being offered in our residences, from outdoor concerts and movie and game nights to visits from a local children’s summer camp. It’s wonderful to see the smiles and hear the contagious laughter throughout our campuses. I encourage you to read more about these happenings in this newsletter and our posts on social media and our website.

As the new Regional President, Chelsea, my focus this first month is on rounding and meeting with as many residents and families as I can. I am already blown away by the warm welcome I have received from those of you I’ve been lucky to meet. You’ve openly shared with me stories of gratitude for the high quality care and service our staff provide to your loved ones. I have also heard your ideas to make our residents’ lives even better. I look forward to sharing with you my insights and vision in future newsletters. I still have a long way to go to meet everyone so please don’t hesitate to say hi to me in the halls as I continue to make the rounds.

While the quick change to cooler temps the past few days is a relief compared to the heat we have had to endure, I hope that the summer gives us a few more weeks to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our communities safe, happy, and vibrant. I hope to see you in our residences soon.
