Chelsea Jewish Lifecare Utilizes Best Practice Deep Cleaning Techniques

What do the Boston Red Sox, and other professional teams have in common with Chelsea Jewish Lifecare? Their deep cleaning procedures! Professional sports teams, along with hospitals, medical centers, airlines, country clubs, mass transit and government agencies are using the same new deep cleaning technique as Chelsea Jewish Lifecare.
“Preventing the spread of COVID-19 hinges on good hygiene practices, and deep cleaning is a huge part of this process,” said Marc Richard, new Director of Facilities Engineering, for Chelsea Jewish Lifecare. “The frequency of cleanings as well as the way we clean are crucial factors in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.”

In an effort to maintain the highest level of virus prevention possible, a series of techniques and practices have been implemented in all Chelsea Jewish Lifecare skilled nursing and assisted living residences. The organization has invested in Clorox® Total 360®Electrostatic Sprayer, which is the first system that pairs an electrostatic sprayer with a portfolio of Clorox® disinfectants and sanitizers. This innovative technology enables superior coverage in hard-to-reach places — the side, underside and backside of surfaces. Used on a daily basis, these sprayers produce an electrostatic charge that provides a much higher level of sanitation, without having to move objects around in the room.
Cordless backpack power disinfectant sprayers and hand-held cordless power sprayers are also an integral part of the cleaning routine. Additionally, the team is using a Victory Innovations electrostatic sprayer, which is user friendly in the resident apartments. The professional grade disinfectant solutions are extremely effective, while being environmentally safe.

Recent guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control Prevention state that the virus does not spread easily via contaminated surfaces. While this is good news indeed, it is prudent to deep clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces in all residences and common areas. These procedures are standard protocol in Chelsea Jewish Lifecare’s cleaning program. Residents will be notified when the deep cleaning has occurred through signs posted throughout the residences.
“Our cleaning regimen is based upon the use of chemicals approved by the Centers for Disease Control and the Environmental Protection Agency to deep clean and disinfect all common areas and apartments/rooms,” said Richard. “These state-of the-art products allow for maximum sanitation coverage.” He added, “It gives me peace of mind knowing we are utilizing the newest and best deep cleaning techniques and products possible.”
