Behind the Scenes at Cohen Florence Levine Estates and Florence & Chafetz

March is a busy month on our campus. Residents, staff, and family members are enjoying the live concerts every Sunday. The sound of music is in the air!

Our Purim party was festive and fun, with some very creative costumes. Take a look at the many photos from the celebration. Clearly, Purim is one of the most joyous holidays.

Bowling, bingo, tea parties, hand massages, mystery rides and restaurant trips are a few of the featured activities this month. Restaurant trips included Jimmy’s Steer House and Green Tea Chinese Restaurant, two long-time favorite dining destinations. Also on the agenda: We explore Greece during our “Around the World” session.

The “Golden Moments” visit was a big hit. Jeff, the company’s owner, brought Myles, a beautiful Golden Retriever, to visit our residents. The dogs had a ball performing tricks and finding treats. There’s nothing better— or cuter—than a little pet therapy!

Florence & Chafetz is gearing up for the long-awaited Snowball Fashion Show on March 23. Residents will model the outfits and we can’t wait to see the all the different looks. Both residents and staff have been working really hard on coordinating the myriad of details. As Coco Chanel once said, “Every day is a fashion show and the world is a runway.” See below for a teaser of the event featuring our residents as cover models (click to enlarge).
