A Holiday Message from Adam Berman
Dear Residents and Families,
I approach this holiday season this year with a renewed sense of optimism. Admittedly, the past months have been a demanding time for us all, but with the advent of a coronavirus vaccine, there truly is hope on the horizon.
That said, it is essential that we continue to be vigilant about protecting our residents. The next months will be critical. It is imperative we work together and follow the guidelines set by Centers for Disease Control and Department of Public Health (DPH). To that end, the DPH strongly advises families not to take their loved ones out of assisted livings and skilled nursing residences during the December holidays. We agree this is the safest course of action to follow and, as a result, are strongly recommending that you do not take your loved ones out of our home. Please understand we are not saying this lightly. Our residents are a high-risk group due to their age and the probability of contracting the virus is well above average. Clearly, we realize the holidays are a time when families want to be together, yet it is vital to consider the consequences this year.
Please know I am eternally grateful for your support, loyalty and incredible show of unity. There is no doubt that our amazing residents, families and staff set us apart. Working together, we can overcome the challenges of the coronavirus and look forward our world becoming a safer place.
I wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season. May the coming year bring you much joy, health and happiness.
Warm regards,
Adam Berman
