At Kaplan Estates, we provide specialized residences for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses. Offering compassionate resident support in a safe and stimulating environment, our highly trained staff works with each resident to minimize limitations while maintaining individuality and dignity.

Apartments

Two 16-apartment residences, designed in consultation with the Alzheimer’s Association. Scenic views, private baths with shower seat and grab bars, individual heat and air conditioning controls, cable TV and phone hookup. All apartments come equipped with emergency response systems. We are expanding are memory care community with the addition of 4 new apartments, which will be completed in the fall of 2019.

Amenities

Residential-style country kitchen, 3-season porches, activity room, arts and crafts space, relaxation room and a therapeutic garden designed specifically for those with memory impairments. Within our assisted living community, the residence features a fireplace room, community room, coffee shop, garden kitchen, beauty salon, library, and outdoor patio.

Services

Three meals per day, weekly housekeeping, linen and laundry service. Daily assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management and dietary needs are incorporated into each resident’s individualized care plan.

Activities

Lectures, concerts, arts and crafts, games, music programs, exercise classes, gardening, holiday celebrations, and restaurant outings on our community van.
