Resident Life At Leonard Florence Center for Living
165 Captains Row
Chelsea, MA 02150
Residents stay in beautifully appointed private rooms, with floor to ceiling windows and en suite bathrooms. The trained nursing staff provides light housekeeping, personal laundry, and meal preparation in the home. home. A key advantage is that residents rise when they want, eat when they want and plan their own schedules. It’s just like living at home except here you are also getting the very best care, stimulating social and recreational activities and a staff who will quickly seem like family.
Each home features a central communal space near the kitchen and a dining table for 10. There’s also an electrical hearth, where 10 residents live together in private rooms. The shahbazim are assigned full-time to a specific home, instead of being shared by the entire facility, which brings a high level of comfort and familiarity between residents and staff members. In addition to delicious and nutritious meals a day, coffee, tea and snacks are provided according to each resident’s preferred time. There are no nurse’s stations or medical carts. Our competent and compassionate caregivers provide individualized skilled nursing home care, 24 hours a day, with all the comforts of home.
Our skilled team of specialists include licensed, certified professionals who will facilitate your recovery from pulmonary, cardiac and orthopedic conditions, among others. Individual care plans include strength training, self-care management, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language pathology. We work hard to optimize your recovery and re-establish your independence.
