Liz Polay-Wettengel Named Director of Marketing and Communications at Aviv Centers for Living
Liz Polay-Wettengel has been named Director of Marketing and Communications at Aviv Centers for Living. She brings over 17 years of experience to her post. Most recently she was the Community Manager and co-creator JewishBoston.com, a Combined Jewish Philanthropies initiative. She also was instrumental in introducing social media marketing practices while she served as the Manager of Internet Initiatives at CJP. JewishBoston.com was launched in March 2010 and in one year, in a niche market, went from zero to 30,000 unique visitors a month.
Polay-Wettengel was instrumental in bringing the idea of online identity early in her roles within the music and book publishing industries in her role as a Publicist for Quayside Publishing Group and Artistic Development Marketing Manager at EMI/Capitol Records. She is a results-oriented modern marketing professional and is looking forward to using traditional and online tools to generate awareness and excitement about Aviv. “We are delighted that Liz will be joining our team. Her array of talents will be a great asset to Aviv,” said Michael Hammerschmidt, Aviv Centers for Living Chief Development Officer.

She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Houston where she received her Associates of Arts Degree with a a concentration in Media Production and Marketing. She and her husband David reside in Salem with their two sons.
