JRC @ Home Opens at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center

JRC @ Home, a simulated living center, designed to assist rehab patients prior to their leaving the facility, is now open at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center in Swampscott, MA.  It features a functional studio apartment that includes a working kitchen, dining room, bedroom, sitting room and bathroom.  Therapists are able to replicate every day scenarios to better assess performance.  Patients are able to perform higher levels of activities and gain confidence prior to returning to their homes.  Funds were donated by the Waldfogel Family Foundation.  For more information, call Megin L. Hemmerling, OTR/L, Director of Rehabilitation Services at 781-973-1565.
