Tuesday was a special day at the beach for 30 residents of the Cohen Florence Levine Estates assisted living facility in Revere, who spent part of the day enjoying the beach.

As temperatures surged to record-breaking highs Tuesday, the residents of Cohen Florence Levine Estates Assisted Living were cooling off in the ocean at Revere Beach.
“The annual trip came into being when residents mentioned how much they missed swimming in the ocean and feeling the sand beneath their feet,” organizers from Cohen Florence Levine Estates said. “The staff turned their request into reality and now the event, in its fourth year, is a highlight of the year.”
