Aviv Centers for Living’s Jewish Rehabilitation Center Celebrates Nursing Home Week

In observance of Nursing Home Week, May 8 to 14, Aviv Centers for Living’s Jewish Rehabilitation Center (JRC) will host a series of events designed to enrich the relationships between residents, families and
staff. The theme of the week is “Fulfilling the Promise.” “Our residents and staff have so much to offer,” said Kim Pierce, JRC Director of Activities “and this seemed like the perfect showcase.” Some of the week’s special events include: a pancake breakfast for staff specially cooked by the management team, a Mother’s Day Tea Party, Israel Independence Day Celebration, a wine tasting and an ice cream buffet for residents. A highlight of the week’s events includes an art display with sketches from JRC resident David Richards.
