Aviv Centers for Living Hosts Event to Commemorate Tenth Anniversary of September 11, 2001

Stephen H. Neff, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aviv Centers for Living, will lead a ceremony commemorating the tenth anniversary of September 11 on Sunday, September 11 at at Woodbridge Assisted Living at 240 Lynnfield Street in Peabody.
“On September 11, 2001, in our greatest hour of adversity, we showed our greatest strength. On September 11, 2011,Aviv residents , families and friends will to remember and honor our nation’s heroes,” said Neff. The event will begin with the presentation of the Color Guard by the Jewish War
Veterans accompanied by bagpipers. Cheryl Darisse, mother of Erik Darisse, a Sergeant in Army Reserve and an Aviv staff member, is the guest speaker.
Guests will depart to Amazing Grace played by bagpipers. Aviv Centers of Living pays tribute to the nation’s heroes each year on September 11.
