Aviv Centers for Living Hosts CEU Program in Honor of Social Work Month

Aviv Centers for Living (Aviv) hosted a CEU Program on the mental health issues related to being a diabetic. The presentation was in honor of Social Work Month 2011. The Social Work Month 2011 theme, “Social Workers Change Futures,” promotes the role of social workers as positive change agents who have the power to solve some of our nation’s most pressing challenges. “Aviv believes that social work services plays an important role in the well being of seniors and is delighted to host this educational program to honor Social Work Month,” says Janice Glick, Director of Social Work Services at Aviv.
