Aviv Centers for Living Experts Presents “Caring for Your Aging Parent” at JCC on February 1

Healthcare experts from Aviv Centers for Living (Aviv) will present “Caring for Your Aging Parent” as part of  the Community Wellness Series at the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore at Four  Community Road in Marblehead on Wednesday, February 1 from 12-1 p.m.
June Davis, Director of Aviv’s Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Health and Janice Glick, Director of Aviv’s Social Work Services, will lead the practical planning session that will teach how to anticipate changes, understand options and help avoid problems and crises. Learn valuable steps you can take to ensure a parent’s well-being and comfort. The team will also give tips in how to discuss tough issues with parents and how to enhance the quality of life.
The Community Wellness Series is presented by the Jewish Community of the North Shore, Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston and Aviv Centers for Living. The series is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served. Contact Alison Licker at 781-631-8330 or alicker@jccns.com.
