Never stop doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts. (Ritu Ghatourey)
A well-deserved “shout out” to the following staff members:
Marissa Mears: Recognized for always making sure each new patient to her household feels welcome. She is “awesome”, “comforting” and right behind each admission as the patient rolls through the door!
Maurice Scott: Through our suggestion box, staff would like to recognize Maurice Scott, who works “behind the scenes” to keep things running smoothly — staff appreciate that he always answers the phone when they call and he takes care of problems “right away”;
Sonia Rodriguez: Sonia from Housekeeping always makes sure everything is clean and always willing to help out if needed, Sonia is always nice to the residents and will not hesitate to get them a drink or a blanket if nursing staff is busy;
Joelle Chipperini: Kudos from a recent patient, who says Joelle is “the dearest thing”, always concerned about her patients;
Cassandra Rush: Also recognized by a short term rehabilitation patient, Cassandra is seen as “very energetic and knowledgeable”; she is “A+”!
Laura Crowley: Laura works the night shift and is very much appreciated by patients who are worried, in pain, or have trouble sleeping – she is an “absolute star”, “shows compassion” and “give me strength when I am discouraged;
Kathy Manupelli: Our business office manager, who remains unfailingly friendly and cheerful, no matter what! Kathy is often the front line for residents, families, and vendors when there are frustrations about billing and insurance issues (and there are a lot!), but she always tries to be helpful: her sense of humor and calm demeanor are reassuring.
Thanks for all you do every day!!
