Best Memory Care from US World and News report

"Carpeted, nice tables and chairs, recliners, flat screen television - even an outside small patio. All the staff greeted me with a smile and hello - which was comforting. My mom's room has huge windows with natural light, and the paint colors allow for a warmth that just puts you at ease. The staff and RN's have been warm and welcoming. They interact with my mom, took the time to get to know her, and now joke with her. She enjoys being with them. My stress level went down about 50% once my mom moved in here. Best decision I ever made."

Care Options

Long-Term Care

Long-term care is needed when the care needs of an individual has exceeded what can be provided in the home or in any other setting such as assisted living.

Long-term care can be traditional or memory care. Because of behaviors, certain memory care units are secured to keep the individual safe. In both areas of long-term care, activities and stimulation are designed to assist the resident and meet them where they are.

Short-Term Rehab

For those times when you need additional therapy or medication management post hospital stay with the goal of returning to your home. Short-term rehab gives you the confidence to return to life as you know it, despite post-surgical fatigue or a new deficit. Physical, occupational and speech therapy can all be part of a short-term rehab plan.

Memory Support & Alzheimer’s Care

Those with Alzheimer’s and memory loss need an environment that will promote success. Memory care can be provided in long-term care facilities, assisted living residences and adult day health centers. Memory care staff has specialized training to handle situations and confusion that arise with the change of brain health. Appropriate activities and stimulation help those with memory loss enjoy a more successful experience diminishing the fears that can be seen with memory loss.
