Message from Kae Santos, Regional President, Chelsea
Dear Residents and Families,
The holiday season is now upon us, and as the year draws to a close, we have the opportunity to pause and reflect on another year. I am overjoyed to see and hear the signs of love and laughter throughout our residences. Everywhere, I witness residents connecting with family and friends, upholding cherished traditions, and creating new memories. This past Sunday evening marked the beginning of Hanukkah. For eight nights, a candle on the menorah is lit to commemorate this festive holiday. The outdoor 8-foot steel menorah at Leonard Florence Center for Living is especially a sight to see! This week we also celebrate with Hanukkah concerts and yummy traditional foods like latkes, Challah bread, and sufganiyot at each of our residences.
As we celebrate the year that is waning, we look ahead to the endless possibilities that come with a new year. These past few years have taught us how difficult our work can be and how important it is to recognize the efforts of all our staff. We are happy to honor our staff for their hard work and dedication, including Mary Ann Pires, an employee who has worked for Chelsea Jewish for 60 years. Please join me in thanking each and every staff member for the amazing care and service they provide for your loved ones everyday.
On behalf of all our staff, I wish you and your family joy this holiday season and prosperity in the coming year. Thank you for being such an important part of what we do. May your holidays and New Year be filled with peace, joy, good health, love, and hope.
All the best,
Kae
