Hanukkah holiday decorations are in full swing at the Leonard Florence Center for Living. The highlight of the season is the stunning 8-foot menorah that is displayed outside the Center. What a beautiful sight to behold! When lit at night, it is simply spectacular. Additionally, small menorahs have been placed in all the common areas of the residence.
The bakery, led master pastry chef Oreatha, will be offering special holiday treats throughout December, including delicious dreidel cookies and the “always in demand” jelly donuts. To sweeten the pot, every resident will receive chocolate Hanukkah gelt (coins). Month-long festivities include special meals, games such as “Big Bucks Bingo,” trivia, jingo and a curated selection of seasonal movies.
