Dear Residents and Families,
I am thrilled to let you know that over 90% of our residents and about 2/3 of our regular staff members have received the COVID-19 vaccination to date. We expect this number to increase as we continue our vaccinations clinics throughout the month of February. This is a tremendous milestone in the fight against the pandemic, and one that will make a huge difference for everyone in our organization.
The degree of planning these vaccination clinics beforehand was indeed impressive. They ran smoothly and professionally. For that, I am deeply grateful to our incredible staff who orchestrated the myriad of details. Their concern and caring for our residents are very much in evidence.
Like all of you, I long for the day when we can all eat together, resume activities and visit together. We get closer to this reality every day. The vaccinations are a critical first step. But it’s also important to remember that we need to remain vigilant by continuing to wear masks and practicing social distancing.
Admittedly, It has been a long road and I understand the sacrifices and challenges you have experienced in the face of this virus. I appreciate your resilience, your understanding and your cooperation. Above all, I truly thank you for your continued support. It makes a world of difference.
Warm regards,
Adam
