Legacy Lifecare seeking a Human Resources Document Scanner to support our team with a project at our Chelsea, MA and Peabody, MA campus locations.

Primary Responsibilities:
This position's primary responsibility is to support the Human Resources Department with the digitization effort of our employee’s personnel files. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, independent worker who can also work in and contribute to a team environment. This position requires extreme attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
Please note that this is a temporary position as we expect this project will be completed between 60-90 days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately scan human resources files to be converted to an electronic formatReview and prepare files and documents based on conversion requirements to include but not limited to: Arranging records in date order, removing duplicate copies, removing staples and clipping multi-page documents, copying duplexed pages so each section can be properly scanned without missing pages.Perform and monitor all activities required to scan the documentsReview the scanned document images electronically to verify that all pages within the document were scanned accurately and completely.The review shall include a 100% verification of each scanned page image to ascertain the image quality.Re-scanning of documents will be required if the scanned images are deemed poor quality.Maintains security and confidentiality of all content and records.Lift cartons weighing up to 35 pounds, as required
Minimum Required Skills/Experience:
Previous scanning experience is preferredStrong attention to detail in Quality Control and IndexingAbility to use various scanning and viewing equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and quality while meeting goals and requirementsAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyReliable attendance within M-F, 8-5 office hours to our office locations in Chelsea and Peabody. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team memberAbility to work independently or with minimal supervisionAbility to adapt to changing work requirements and prioritiesKnowledge in the use of scanning equipment, the Internet, and other internal applications necessary to complete routine and moderately complex tasksExcellent working knowledge of computer software to include search capabilityDesired Skills/Experience: Working knowledge of ADP Document Server preferredKnowledge of Human Resources SOP of Employee Files a PLUS!
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalentSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneMachines and Equipment to be Used: Computers, scanners, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and a variety of other office/clerical equipment.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching.May require lifting up to 35 pounds.Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
