The Hospice and Visiting Nurse Agency (VNA) is dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout the Greater Boston area. We provide exceptional home care and hospice services in the comfort of one’s home, assisted living facilities, or in long-term care residences.
Position Summary: Legacy Lifecare is seeking an RN to provide services to our community. The ideal candidate should be able to practice independently, yet embrace the importance of the team in provision of our hospice services. We value individualized, patient-centered care within our highly skilled, supportive care team.
Duties:
- Follows the patient’s plan of care with consideration for the dignity and desires of the patient/family
- Participates indirect patient care by performing treatment and administering medications for relief
- Appropriate interventions in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Prior nursing experience with knowledge of Home Care, Hospice, Rehab or Long-term Care preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation for home-visits in the Jamaica Plain and Newton areas
Hours: Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem
$7,500 Sign-On Bonus
Compensation is based on years of experience
