Vent Unit CNA Overview:
Life in the Green House is organized around the needs and lives of the residents who live there. The constant companion of the resident is the CNA (Shahbaz). The Shahbaz is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) with additional specialized training. It is the duty of the CNA to protect, to nurture and to sustain the resident. CNA's are responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the environment and for providing high quality of care. The work the CNA's do is organized around a self-managed work team. Members of the self-managed work team serve as coordinators to facilitate the delivery of and compliance with all services and tasks that they are responsible for under the care plan and operationally. CNA's are coached by the Green House Guide, who oversees operations and assures compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements. The CNA's work cooperatively with the Clinical Support Team (CST/Nurse) to support their work.
