After a Loss: Facing the High Holy Days – A Free Workshop Offered at Woodbridge Assisted Living

The Center for Grief & Healing, a program of Hospice of the North Shore, in conjunction with Woodbridge Assisted Living is offering a workshop focusing on coping with loss during the Jewish high holy days on Thursday, September 10, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. The program will take place at Woodbridge Assisted Living, 240 Lynnfield Street, Peabody.
The workshop will be facilitated by Rabbi Howard Kosovske, a pulpit rabbi and spiritual leader with a 40-year history in using the wealth of the Jewish tradition to assist and work with individuals in various stages of grief and bereavement, and Dianne Kuzia Hills, LICSW, a bereavement counselor with the Center for Grief & Healing who has over 20 years of experience.
This workshop will provide education about grief, suggestions and techniques for coping with loss during the high holy days and an opportunity for participants to share their experiences with one another.
While the workshop is free of charge and open to anyone in the community who has lost someone special, advance registration is required as refreshments will be served.
