Over its 100th year history, Chelsea Jewish Lifecare has cared for thousands of individuals. We have come to know many wonderful residents, families and staff members. These special relationships are the very essence of our organization.
Our story began in 1919,when Lena Goldberg founded the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home,a warm and welcoming home for neighboring elders in Chelsea. The rest, as they say, is history. Today Chelsea Jewish Lifecare operates campuses in Chelsea, Peabody and Longmeadow Massachusetts. Clearly, we have come a long way.
To celebrate this monumental milestone, we are holding a 100th anniversary dinner on Sunday, April 28 at Kernwood Country Club, 1 Kernwood Street in Salem from 5pm to 9pm. We hope all our staff, residents, families , friends and community members will attend this historic occasion. For ticket information and to RSVP, click on ChelseaJewish100 or contact Maura Graham at 617-409-8973 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
A highlight of the evening will be a heartfelt tribute to our long-time employees. We are honoring staff members who have been with Chelsea Jewish Lifecare for 25 years or more. What an incredible achievement!
Throughout our growth and expansion, one thing has never changed: our caring, competent and compassionate staff. We would not be the organization we are today without each and every one of our valuable employees. At the same time, our remarkable residents and families truly make our organization exceptional.
Take a look at a few photos from the last 100 years. There will be many more – plus a few surprises – at this celebratory dinner. Please join us on April 28th as Chelsea Jewish Lifecare turns 100!
